Daniel Wilson (Labour Party)

Dan and his family have lived in Exmouth since 2000 and his children attend the local school. He has worked with businesses to increase productivity and profitability; he is now self-employed working in property maintenance.

Dan is angry about the staggering 22% of children in East Devon, who are living in poverty and sees this as utterly shameful for a nation that boasts the world’s fifth largest economy. Children are not the only people affected by the politics of austerity, with increasing numbers of in-work and pensioner poverty.

He has experience in managing teams, dealing with the public, developing strategies and achieving results and will listen judiciously and respond to the needs of all people within East Devon. Dan will campaign relentlessly for a Labour Government that will work tirelessly to end this injustice and bring about a fair society. Dan is standing in this election to fight for the vulnerable and to win this seat.
