Our Exmouth Branch
Exmouth is the largest town in our constituency.
Exmouth Branch of EDCLP usually meets on the 4th Wednesday of each month. Details of when and where (including online access) plus the agenda for each meeting are sent by email to members a week ahead so make sure you are receiving our those. Our core value is to create a fairer and better future at both local and national levels and:
Aim to put a stop to the privatisation of our NHS. NHS services have been either closed or reduced all over East Devon, leaving communities without the care they need. A Labour East Devon and a Labour government will put a stop to this by investing in the NHS and putting an end to its privatisation.
Promote full employment and secure homes. Too many people in East Devon face low pay, insecurity and poor conditions both inside and outside the workplace. Labour promises to make substantial investments in building sustainable new homes.
Improved transport links. Poor transport across East Devon leaves many vulnerable people unable to access the services, care and businesses they need. As well as improving East Devon’s links and services, Labour will renationalise our railways, ensuring that they are made affordable for the many, not the few.
Invest in our education system.
Protect our environment. At a national level this means keeping our Paris climate agreement and moving to a low-carbon economy.
Please join us at our meetings as well as our campaigning to help achieve a society for the many and not the few.
For further information please contact the local constituency contact (see your Labour Party Membership card) who will put you in touch with the Exmouth Branch officers.
